Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform specialized breast imaging and procedures using mammographic radiographic equipment. The role includes stereotactic and MRI biopsy imaging, with commitment to patient care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training.
• 2 years experience as a Mammography Technologist.
• Licenses and Certifications: Radiography (R), Mammography (M), and BLS required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality screening, diagnostic and other mammography procedures.
• Reviews exam requisitions for pertinent information and notes all additional information.
• Positions patient and equipment, selects the protocol and technique for each exam.
• Evaluates images for diagnostic quality and obtains additional images as needed.
• Ensures accuracy of each exam by labeling images correctly and following procedures.
• Provides customer service/support to patient population and maintains required records.
