Qualifications

• Must possess current licensure as required by state board where services will be provided.
• Registered in Radiography by ARRT.
• Registered in Mammography by ARRT.

Responsibilities

• Plans imaging procedures based on patient needs and scope.
• Maintains expertise in anatomy and pathology to optimize procedures.
• Positions and compresses the patient for accurate breast imaging.
• Minimizes radiation exposure with proper shielding and exposure factors.
• Evaluates images for protocol compliance and quality.
