Qualifications

• AS degree required.
• ARRT Breast Sonography (BS), Mammography (M) and Radiography (R) registrations.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge mammography exams completed during the shift and document in HIS and PACS.
• Set up special tests in the mammography area and obtain previous mammograms for comparison.
• Assist radiologist with needle localization and stereotactic biopsies.
• Perform breast ultrasound exams and maintain ultrasound equipment and QA.
• Ensure radiation safety and maintain a clean, OSHA-compliant environment.
• Promote mammography through community education and report equipment issues promptly.
