Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registration with mammography certification.
• SC SCRQSA licensure and current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate a mammography unit to produce diagnostic images under physician direction.
• Explain the procedure to patients and position/immobilize the breast for imaging.
• Monitor the imaging process, adjust density/contrast for image quality, and review images for diagnostic quality.
