Accenture is seeking a senior Malware Reverse Engineer to lead and execute advanced static and dynamic analysis across Windows and Linux environments. You will reverse engineer complex samples, uncover behavior and C2 logic, and translate findings into robust detections while supporting incident response.

You will mentor analysts and ensure rigorous, publishable outputs for leadership and stakeholders. The role emphasizes technical leadership, threat mapping, and collaboration across Accenture

Competenze

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in malware reverse engineering, exploit analysis, vulnerability research, or closely related cyber technical analysis roles.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in static and dynamic malware analysis across Windows and Linux.
• Minimum 6 years using advanced reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro and Ghidra; 3 years with debugging tools like x64dbg or Binary Ninja.
• Minimum 5 years of experience analyzing packed/obfuscated malware and bypassing anti-debugging techniques.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with low-level code (assembly) and 5 years developing tooling in C/C++ or Python for malware analysis.
• Minimum 4 years of experience reconstructing C2 protocols and infrastructure artifacts.
• Minimum 4 years developing detection content (YARA, Snort, Sigma).
• Minimum 3 years serving as technical quality reviewer for malware analysis outputs.

Mansioni

• Conduct advanced static and dynamic malware analysis across Windows and Linux.
• Reverse engineer complex and obfuscated binaries, including packed samples.
• Reproduce and validate vulnerabilities being exploited by real-world threat actors.
• Extract configuration data, artifacts, and C2 logic from malware.
• Map adversary infrastructure and correlate campaigns and operators.
• Translate findings into high-fidelity detection logic for SOC use cases.
• Review malware analysis outputs for technical rigor before dissemination.
• Support incident response during critical events and differentiate rapid triage from deep analysis.
• Mentor senior analysts and raise engineering depth of the team.
• Deliver concise, risk-based communications to leadership when escalation is needed.
