Set of X is seeking engineers to analyze, dissect, and reverse-engineer malware and APTs to uncover their functionality and impact. You will identify vulnerabilities and develop tools to enhance threat detection, working with intelligence analysts and cybersecurity teams.

Document findings clearly for internal teams and federal partners; stay current on emerging threats and reverse-engineering techniques. You will also support incident response and forensic investigations as needed to protect

Qualifications

• Malware analysis and reverse engineering experience.
• Proficient in assembly, C/C++, Python for analysis automation.
• Experience with disassembly and debugging tools (IDA Pro, Ghidra, Radare2, OllyDbg, WinDbg).
• Familiarity with Windows, Linux, macOS internals and networking basics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, dissect, and reverse-engineer malware and APTs to uncover functionality and impact.
• Identify vulnerabilities and exploits across software, hardware, and network systems.
• Develop tools and scripts to enhance malware analysis and threat detection.
