Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree +12+ years or Master's +10+ years in relevant field.
• Experience analyzing malware across Linux, macOS, Windows, iOS, Android, IoT.
• Proficiency with multiple debugging and reverse engineering tools.
• Strong reverse-engineering methodologies and file reconstruction.
• Ability to unpack, de-obfuscate, and analyze complex malware.
• Hands-on debugging and defeating custom packers.
• Disassembly workflows proficiency.
• U.S. citizenship required; TS clearance with SCI potential.
• Ability to obtain DHS EOD background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Isolate, analyze, and reverse-engineer malware to determine behavior.
• Conduct static and dynamic analysis across multiple platforms.
• Produce technical reports detailing findings and impact of malware.
• Support active cyber operations and threat-hunting missions.
• Recommend countermeasures and mitigation strategies for malware targeting government systems.
• Collaborate with cyber operators, analysts, and mission partners to enhance malware defense capabilities.
• Develop and refine policies, procedures, and methodologies for malware investigations across networks.
• Reverse-engineer known and suspected malware to support incident response.
