Tyson Foods seeks a Senior Supervisor Maintenance Training for 1st shift at the Springdale facility. The role leads the planning and execution of the maintenance training program, including creating literature, manuals, and training aids, and coordinating hands-on instruction for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, refrigeration, and related topics.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, orienting new maintenance staff, coordinating with vendors, and leading safety training.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years industrial maintenance experience.
• Computer Skills: Competent in Microsoft Excel Word; knowledge of Tyson SAP-Plant Maintenance preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interface with all levels of the plant organization.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the Maintenance Training Program.
• Prepare training literature, manuals, systems and aids; lead class instruction on fundamentals of maintenance topics.
• Maintain training aids, student records and scheduling of classes.
• Perform maintenance orientation training for new maintenance team members.
• Interface with vendors regarding training content and delivery.
• Coordinate and lead safety training for the maintenance department.
• Coordinate administering and assessing hands-on training requirements for maintenance personnel.
