Job summary

dsm-firmenich AG in Exton, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician for first shift. You will manage set-up, repair, and preventive maintenance of manufacturing tooling and related equipment to ensure high-quality production outcomes.

The role emphasizes HVAC, refrigeration, steam, and electrical systems, with on-call rotations and reporting responsibilities. A technical background and strong troubleshooting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in electrical, electronics/PLC and refrigeration.
• CPR training is required or preferred.
• Two-year technical degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, repair, and maintain manufacturing tooling and equipment.
• Develop and update maintenance procedures as necessary.
• Train assembly technicians on operation of manufacturing equipment.
• Complete entries in Preventative Maintenance Logbooks and Faciliworks.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing process problems with production staff.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineering as required.
• Assist with plumbing, HVAC and electrical services to maintain conditions.
• Maintain non-production equipment supporting production.
• Organize and maintain spare parts inventory for timely repairs.
• Provide management with periodic reports.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide off-hours support.
