Job summary

Manpower is assisting a well-known manufacturer in Womelsdorf, PA to hire a Maintenance Technician on the first shift, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime on Saturdays. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with production machinery and troubleshooting to identify core issues.

Candidates should be proficient with 480/240/120 volt electrical systems and have experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with production machinery maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with 480/240/120V electrical systems and low voltage controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Must be able to use electrical testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, maintain and repair machinery and equipment in the production facility.
• Inspect and measure parts to detect wear or misalignment.
• Change over to new sizes and run adjustments to maintain production and quality.
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears for preventive maintenance.
• Start machines after repairs to test operation and ensure proper function.
• Follow GMPs, company policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of motors, hydraulic systems, pneumatics, conveyors and motor drives.
• Must have experience with 480/240/120 voltage and low voltage AC-DC controls.
• Read blueprints and schematics.

Maintenance Technician – Direct Hire - Womelsdorf, PA
FIRST SHIFT Mon-Fri with occasional OT on Saturdays
Starting Pay Rate is$29.75/hr

Manpower is assisting a well-known manufacturer local to Womelsdorfwith hiring a thirdshift Maintenance Technician. The right candidate must have prior experience with working on production machinery, troubleshooting skills to identify the core issue, working with 480, 240, 120 voltage, and able to work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

• The Maintenance Mechanicis responsible for the set up, adjustment, maintenance and repair of machinery and mechanical equipment used in the production facility. Observes machines and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions.
• Inspects and measures parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems.
• Adjusts functional parts of machine devices and control instruments, which includes change-over to new sizes and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality in supporting all manufacturing needs.
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery as needed for Preventive maintenance control.
• Starts machines and equipment to test operation following repairs and maintenance.
• Perform all tasks in accordance with GMP’s, company policies and procedures.
• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of motors, Hydraulic systems, pneumatics, conveyor systems, motor drives and programmable controls.
• Must have 480, 240, 120 voltage experience, also low voltage AC-DC controls.
• Must be able to work with electrical testing equipment (multi-meter, amp probe, etc.).
