Job summary
Arrow Finishing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to lead complex equipment and facility upkeep, including PLC-controlled systems and boiler operations. The role demands independence, technical expertise, and mentorship of junior technicians to improve equipment reliability.
You will troubleshoot advanced failures, document maintenance actions, and drive safety and continuous improvement across the plant.
Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of maintenance experience or equivalent advanced training.
- Must have on-call availability.
- Strong mechanical fundamentals including motors, bearings, and power transmission.
- Electrical system proficiency including 480V 3-phase, single phase, and low-voltage controls.
- Experience with PLCs, automation, instrumentation, boilers, and controls.
- Proficient with CMMS, documentation, and communication.
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead advanced corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
- Mentor Maintenance Technician I and II.
- Diagnose complex failures and lead root cause analysis.
- Ensure safe, compliant maintenance operations.
- Enter detailed work orders and repair activities into CMMS.
- Read manuals, diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Coordinate with vendors and other departments.
- Provide technical updates to production leadership.
