Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc in South Carolina seeks Maintenance Technician I–III to support and service production lines, perform PMs, and handle seasonal facility upkeep. You’ll identify parts, maintain 5S practices, and keep safety standards high.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and PLC systems, reading blueprints, coordinating with vendors, and assisting with project-related relocations.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience with equipment and automation.
• Ability to communicate across departments.
• Ability to safely perform maintenance on equipment, building and grounds.
• Knowledge of OSHA, Arc Flash, LOTO and NEC.
• PIV training and certification.
• Airial lift training and certification.
• Basic PC functions including Windows knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service production lines and facility.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and work orders.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and PLC systems.
• Coordinate with vendors and assist in project execution.
• Assist with relocating complex machines and equipment.
