GreenWood, Inc. in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance on production and facilities equipment. You will troubleshoot issues, repair failures, and contribute to maximizing equipment efficiency while upholding safety and company goals.

The role emphasizes independent and team work, with emphasis on PLC/CNC systems, hydraulic/pneumatic controls, and a strong safety culture across plant operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics and basic electrical repair.
• Experience with PLC and CNC test equipment including troubleshooting and PMs.
• Formal training in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment operations.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Self-motivated, disciplined problem-solver; good in a team.
• Commitment to safety culture and ability to work with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair of production equipment, from basic hydraulic equipment to complex CNC machinery.
• Performs preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoots failures and works in a team to determine root causes.
• Participates in plant shift meetings and continuous improvement activities.
• Uses CMMS to manage work orders and review work history.
• Follows safety procedures, practices, and regulations to foster a safety-first culture.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
