Job summary

BG Foods in Yadkinville, NC is hiring a Maintenance Technician III for 1st shift. You will serve as a senior technical expert responsible for advanced troubleshooting, system optimization, and reliability improvements across production and utility systems.

This role provides technical leadership, mentors technicians, and partners with supervision and engineering to ensure safe, efficient plant operations in a food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of industrial mechanical, electrical, or automation maintenance.
• Proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLC systems.
• Strong troubleshooting across 3-phase electrical circuits.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Understanding of process control instrumentation (I/P, PID loops).

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and automation troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot, replace, configure, and commission VFDs.
• Diagnose root causes and implement long-term fixes.
• Install and troubleshoot process control devices including I/Ps and PID loops.
• Support plant utilities such as boilers, compressors, and chillers.
• Mentor Maintenance Technicians Levels 1 and 2.
