Job summary

Mesa Labs is seeking a senior Maintenance Technician IV to maintain, troubleshoot and improve complex systems in a manufacturing setting. You will lead repairs, mentor staff, and drive PM/PPM activities for equipment reliability and safety.

With expert knowledge in mechanical, electrical and automation systems, you’ll manage installations, commissioning, and continuous improvement projects while collaborating with engineering, production and operations to support quality and productivity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Expert-level troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical and automation systems.
• Proficient in PLC and HMI programming and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex equipment failures across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and automation systems.
• Lead major repairs with minimal downtime and ensure long‑term reliability.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules; implement predictive maintenance techniques.
• Mentor junior technicians and provide hands‑on training.
• Ensure safety, OSHA compliance and accurate maintenance documentation.
• Participate in capital projects and cross‑functional collaboration to improve plant performance.
