Nike Inc. in Missouri seeks a Controls and Automation Technician to maintain and repair plastics manufacturing equipment and facilities. You will apply root cause analysis to breakdown calls and support continuous improvement with the team.
The role requires experience with PLCs, ladder logic, HMIs, VFDs, instrumentation, and calibrations, plus CMMS familiarity (SAP or eMaint). You will mentor junior technicians, perform preventive maintenance, order parts, and ensure safe startup and shutdown
As our Controls and Automation Technician, you'll be working with a highly motivated team skilled in the trade of industrial maintenance. You will be responsible for maintenance and repairs of a wide variety of plastics manufacturing equipment, support equipment and general facilities.
This position is open for the following shifts:
Shift: N1- 5:30pm-5:30am Tuesday-Thursday and every other Monday
What you will work on
You will apply root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills in response to breakdown calls and continuous improvement projects. You will use your communication skills and tools to share information with team members, our customers, and your management team on equipment status.

You will work with the shift Maintenance Coaches and assist our Planner, Scheduler, Coordinator in the execution of preventive maintenance programs, predictive maintenance protocols while reporting directly to the Maintenance Team Coach.
