Job summary

Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. (ADS) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the manufacturing operations, perform PMs, repair equipment, and manage spare parts to keep production lines at peak efficiency.

The role includes troubleshooting machines and their controls (extruders, corrugators, motors & drives), reading electrical drawings, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. On-call and weekend work may be required; ADS offers robust benefits and career growth

Qualifications

HS diploma or equivalent required.
Technician level in electrical/hydraulics/pneumatic preferred.
Basic PLC and drive training preferred.
5+ years industrial maintenance experience.
Plastic process knowledge.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair machines and controls (extruders, corrugators, extrusion die, DC/AC motor & drives, downstream equipment, chillers, etc.).
Maintain and build job skills through company training programs.
Order replacement parts and control components from suppliers as needed.
Contribute to CMMS performance with PMs and repairs and ensure compliance.
First responder to machine problems; contact Electrical Engineering for support.
Support Daily Management directives and initiatives.
Develop and implement Continuous Improvement projects to boost production efficiency and safety.
Collaborate with Production Staff to ensure safe, reliable operation of plant equipment.
