Job summary

Smurfit WestRock is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to support a fast-paced packaging facility in Norcross, GA. Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and performing preventative maintenance with CMMS documentation.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or technical training, 3+ years in industrial maintenance, and PLC/electrical troubleshooting experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college or training in a technical field.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and plan maintenance.
• Commitment to safe work practices and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Support operation of a fast-paced packaging manufacturing facility.
• Repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components.
• Install, start up and shut down equipment per OSHA procedures; communicate issues to management.
• Maintain maintenance records and use CMMS for information.
• Perform preventative maintenance and assist with technical troubleshooting.
