615 Ventures is a Nashville-based investment firm that creates value through the acquisition and management of commercial real estate nationwide. 615 Ventures manages retail, office, industrial, SNTL and residential assets across seven U.S. markets. In addition to our commercial real estate efforts, we also evaluate company acquisitions primarily in the greater Nashville, TN area.

The opportunity

The role of Senior Maintenance Technician will be skilled to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs, installation/replacing and servicing building systems and equipment as well as working side-by-side with the Property Manager. This individual will support the Maintenance Team with ongoing issues and preventative maintenance items. They will be responsible for applying their specific performance skills to equipment and building systems and ensuring facilities are tidy and functional. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge, a keen eye for detail and effective communication.

What you'll do
  • Perform minor and major fixes if applied to skill set and determined by 615 Ventures
  • Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
  • Install appliances and equipment
  • Do grounds upkeep by power washing sidewalks, collecting trash etc.
  • Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
  • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. chillers/boilers, plumbing, HVAC)
  • Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
  • Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations or assigned projects
  • Report issues to the Property Manager
  • Work with the Property Manager on vendor outreach and recommended solutions or bids on equipment maintenance.
  • Manage activity reporting and general maintenance policies
Who you are
  • Proven experience as tech or other similar position
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
  • Experience using hand and electrical tools
  • Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of an apprenticeship is preferred
  • Familiarity with Google Suite and MaintainX
  • This is a hands-on role with regular on-site work and physical activity
  • Must be available for emergency response as needed

Salary Range
We seek to hire top-tier individuals and intend for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision.Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.

Hourly pay range

$30 - $40 USD
