Job summary

Advanced Technology Services, Inc. is hiring a Senior Maintenance Technician to perform expert break-fix and preventative maintenance in a fast-paced industrial setting in Houston, TX.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work across electrical, mechanical, and control systems. You will follow 5S standards, support CI initiatives, and mentor junior technicians while ensuring safe, reliable equipment operation; candidates should have 5+ years of related experience

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree with technical focus preferred.
• 5+ years of related maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs expert level break-fix & preventative maintenance, including observing devices in operation to locate root cause, dismantling to access defective parts, testing performance, and repairing or replacing parts.
• Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items; evaluates alternatives to improve cost and/or reliability.
• Independently performs maintenance per industry standards; coordinates with Planner Scheduler to optimize procedures.
• May operate multiple machining operations (lathe, drill press, grinder) and may perform welding tasks.
• Follows 5S and housekeeping standards; participates in CI activities and supports training of junior technicians.
