Job summary

Harbor in Toledo, OH, seeks a Senior Maintenance Technician to join the team. You will support general maintenance and facility upkeep to keep operations safe and efficient across Harbor sites.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week) and requires five years of experience, a HS diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. You will perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting tasks and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Required: HS Diploma or GED; five years of maintenance or related experience.
• Experience in minor plumbing repairs and electrical work.
• HVAC preventative maintenance experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and use tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility grounds and exterior areas for safety and readiness.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Identify issues and recommend corrective actions before failures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
• Assist in renovations, carpet removal, and minor demolition.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Move and relocate office furniture and equipment.
• Seasonal snow and ice removal to ensure access.
• Transport materials and agency vehicles as needed.
• Prepare work areas for improvements and renovations.
• Paint, patch, and finish interior/exterior surfaces.
• Support facility inspections and respond to maintenance requests.
• Coordinate across Harbor locations for maintenance operations.
