Job summary

MG Properties seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician for Garden Grove Apartments in Tempe, AZ. The role focuses on hands-on maintenance across grounds, units, and common areas, with a strong emphasis on customer service and safety. On-call rotations and reliable transportation are required.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of apartment maintenance experience on a ~200-unit property, and can handle plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks, as well as painting and turnover duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in apartment maintenance on a 200 unit property.
• Experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC or similar trades.
• Strong customer service orientation and teamwork.
• Must be comfortable with on-call rotations and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Clean grounds, offices and common areas.
• Complete maintenance service requests and respond to urgent issues.
• Repair appliances and carry out general repairs.
• Assist with painting and apartment turnovers.
• Handle emergency calls and coordinate with residents.

We are a large regional property management firm looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Garden Grove Apartments, in Tempe, AZ!

The ideal candidate will have experience in all trades and be very customer service focused. Some duties will include cleaning grounds, offices, common areas, completing maintenance service requests, appliance repairs, painting, apartment turnovers, taking emergency calls and more!

Qualifications

• Prefer at least 2 years experience in apartment maintenance on 200 unit property!
• Experience in all trades (plumbing, electrical, a/c, etc.) a must!
• Customer service attitude, flexibility and the ability to work in a team environment are key to making this position a success!
• As a condition of employment, all employees must acknowledge and consent to the possibility of audio recordings being made during the performance of their work duties.
• Reliable transportation is a MUST!
