Job summary

The Andersons is seeking a senior-level technician and maintenance worker to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. The role covers diverse duties across mechanical, electrical, and safety systems to support site goals.

Qualified candidates have 3–5 years of maintenance experience, a High School Diploma or GED (Associate degree preferred), and willingness to travel up to 25%. Valid driver's license required; PLC and HVAC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant maintenance, service technician, or related technical experience.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills; PLCs/controls experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and fire suppression equipment and production machines.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines and facility equipment.
• Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and work orders for inspections and service.
• Collaborate with engineers, manufacturers, contractors to solve problems.
• Conduct inspections and tests for quality control and reporting findings.
• Install electrical and electronic parts and hardware.
• Procure needed parts and inventory.
