Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. is a North American agriculture and renewable fuels company. The Technician III, Maintenance is a senior-level role focused on installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment to support site goals.

Emphasis on safety, predictive maintenance, and continuous improvement across the plant. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED (Associates preferred) and 3–5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree preferred with 3–5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and overhaul production machines and facility equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment and mobile equipment.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints and work orders.
• Diagnose moderately complex maintenance issues and suggest improvements.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts when appropriate.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and plant facilities.
• Maintain computerized preventive maintenance system.
• Follow safety policies and maintain awareness of hazards.
