Job summary

Stonhard is seeking a Maintenance Technician II at its Ft Wayne facility. This senior role focuses on advanced troubleshooting, preventive/predictive maintenance, and mentoring Technicians I to build a reliability-driven culture. Applicant will support batch, mixing, material handling, and packaging systems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial maintenance, strong mechanical/electrical skills, and experience with CMMS and basic blueprints. Strong safety and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years of experience maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, drawings and blueprints.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using CMMS and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains, and drives.
• Perform advanced preventive and predictive maintenance per PM schedules.
• Support installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and basic controls issues.
• Welding and fabrication as required (MIG/TIG/Stick).
• Mentor and coach Maintenance Technician I employees.
• Document work orders, PMs, and corrective actions in the CMMS.
• Coordinate and monitor work by outside contractors.
• Support safety initiatives and housekeeping standards.
