Job summary

Mastronardi Produce Ltd. in Livonia, MI is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to maintain and repair distribution equipment and facility systems. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and mentor junior technicians on a shared team.

The role requires a high school diploma, PLC familiarity, PC/Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Shift is A2 Sunday–Tuesday 5 pm–5 am, with Wednesday 5 pm–11 pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with predictive / preventative maintenance tools and procedures.
• Electrical & Electronic knowledge.
• Thorough understanding of plant maintenance; carpentry and plumbing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical assets throughout the facility as directed.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to material/product handling equipment components.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines as directed.
• Assist in mentoring junior technicians by providing guidance and directions.
• Assist with basic electronics / PLC troubleshooting.
• Follows all established plant maintenance procedures.
• Perform all functions necessary to ensure efficient and reliable maintenance of the plant for optimized production levels.
• Follow tool control and inventory program to support routine maintenance.
