Responsibilities

• Repair distribution center equipment and machines (lift trucks, material handling equipment, hydraulic/pneumatic controls).
• Inspect, install, replace, rebuild and align mechanical parts and electrical components; review drawings to diagnose problems.
• Complete work order forms according to procedures.
• Record part numbers and order information for processing.
• Maintain professional attitude with coworkers and supervisors.
• Keep work area clean and safe; retrieve tools and equipment easily.
• Perform preventive maintenance on forklifts and conveyors without supervision.
• Follow lockout/tagout and safety procedures.
• Perform some janitorial activities.
