Job summary

Clearwater Housing Development Corporation (CHDC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to maintain and improve properties for safety and appearance. You will perform repairs in vacant and occupied apartments and in common areas, under supervision, with rotating on-call in Clearwater, Florida.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years in trades (carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, painting, or elevator systems), and EPA certification plus a valid Florida

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED certificate.
Three to five years' experience in various trades including carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, appliances and/or electrical maintenance and repair, elevator systems, and painting.
Computer proficiency in Windows operating system and MS Office software.
EPA certification
Valid Florida Driver’s License

Responsibilities

Maintain and improve properties to ensure safety and appearance.
Complete repairs in vacant apartments, residential apartments and common areas.
Work under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor with rotating emergency on-call in Clearwater, FL.
Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am to 5pm, benefits-eligible.
