Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of codes/regulations pertaining to equipment and operations.
• Advanced computer skills (CMMS, building automation, Microsoft Office).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate HVAC equipment including boilers, chillers, and ventilation systems to optimize safety and occupant comfort.
• Maintain accurate CMMS records of startup, failures, and repairs with minimal guidance.
• Respond to alarms and use BAS to monitor and control equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on facility systems per procedures.
• Troubleshoot complex HVAC issues and coordinate with teams to minimize impact on hospital care.
• Read blueprints and maintenance manuals; support small projects and peer mentoring.
