Qualifications

• 10+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Welding/fabrication shop experience strongly preferred.
• 480V three-phase electrical troubleshooting and repair.
• Electrical installation, including conduit, wiring and terminations.
• PLC troubleshooting and diagnostics; programming experience is a plus.
• VFD/troubleshooting.
• Overhead crane troubleshooting and repair, including electrical controls, pendants, wiring and components.
• Air compressor maintenance, diagnostics and repair.
• Welding-machine troubleshooting and repair.
• Electrical/control board troubleshooting.
• Preventive maintenance on fabrication equipment.
• Basic pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs independently.
• Familiarity with OSHA, NFPA and electrical safety practices.
• Basic computer skills for work orders and PM documentation.

Senior Maintenance Technician - Fabrication

DIHO Consulting USA LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician for a growing welding/fabrication operation in the Greater Houston area.

This is a senior-level, hands-on position for a technician who can work independently and take ownership of equipment troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance. Strong electrical experience is essential, as approximately 85-90% of the role is electrical.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

• 10+ years of maintenance experience preferred
• Welding/fabrication shop experience strongly preferred
• 480V three-phase electrical troubleshooting and repair
• Electrical installation, including conduit, wiring and terminations
• PLC troubleshooting and diagnostics; programming experience is a plus
• VFD/variable-drive troubleshooting
• Overhead crane troubleshooting and repair, including electrical controls, pendants, wiring and components
• Air compressor maintenance, diagnostics and repair
• Welding-machine troubleshooting and repair
• Electrical/control board troubleshooting
• Preventive maintenance on fabrication equipment
• Basic pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting
• Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs independently
• Familiarity with OSHA, NFPA and electrical safety practices
• Basic computer skills for work orders and PM documentation

The ideal candidate is a seasoned maintenance professional who is comfortable being the primary maintenance resource onsite and can troubleshoot equipment without requiring extensive training or supervision.

Compensation: $30-$35/hour depending on experience. Candidates with highly specialized experience may still be considered above the target range.
