Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Sr Technician to uphold the operation of medium to large buildings for a major technology client. This day shift role (Monday–Friday) covers preventive maintenance, basic plumbing, low-voltage work, and carpentry, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

You will inspect installations, assign work, estimate time and materials, and ensure building systems run smoothly while adhering to CBRE RISE values and company standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience.
• In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Certifications in the field are preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, low-voltage work, and carpentry.
• Complete drywall repairs, door and lock repairs, and electric door maintenance as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and routine inspections, including fire extinguisher checks and other facility maintenance tasks.
• Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
