Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Sr. Technician to maintain medium to large-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment for a major technology client.

This day shift role runs Monday through Friday and focuses on preventive maintenance, repairs, and system efficiency. You will perform plumbing, low-voltage work, carpentry, drywall repairs, door/lock maintenance, and inspections while leading by example and adhering to CBRE RISE values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience.
• Certifications in the field are preferred.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, low-voltage work, and carpentry.
• Complete drywall repairs, door and lock repairs, and electric door maintenance as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and routine inspections, including fire extinguisher checks and other facility maintenance tasks.
• Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Impact the quality of own work.
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
