Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Sr. Technician to support a major technology client by maintaining building systems, equipment, and facilities for safe, efficient operations. This is a Monday–Friday day shift on-site role within CBRE's Engineering and Technical Services.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair building systems, lead small projects, and ensure regulatory compliance while modeling CBRE's RISE values in daily work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Impact the quality of own work.
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
