Job summary

GreenWood, Inc. in Georgia is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance on production and facilities equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency.

You will work independently and with plant staff, use CMMS to manage work orders, participate in shift meetings and continuous improvement, and uphold a safety-first culture. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education and/or a technical trade certificate a plus.
• At least three years of experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and basic electrical repair.
• Experience with PLC and CNC test equipment to include troubleshooting, repairs, PMs, and other world-class maintenance measures.
• Experienced, preferably by formal training, in principles and standards for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment operations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair of production equipment from basic hydraulic equipment to complex CNC machinery
• Performs preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment
• Effectively troubleshoots failures and works in a team environment to determine root cause of failure
• Participates in plant shift meetings and continuous improvement activities
• Utilizes CMMS system to manage work orders and review work history
• Ensures all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed before, during, and after the process to foster a positive safety culture by having a safety-first mindset and approach during execution of activities
• Performs other duties as assigned
