Job summary

All Jobs bv is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to build, repair, and overhaul manufacturing equipment, jigs, and fixtures. You will assist engineers and production managers with repair jobs and projects, including fixtures and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities include starting machines, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with design teams to implement changes per specifications. A strong emphasis on safety, 5S, and PM routines is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in the maintenance and repair of equipment.
• 2-year technical degree from community college, 3 years in a trades industry, or 2 years industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Able to read blueprints and specifications.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, including PLCs.
• Strong attention to detail and care to prevent damage to complex machines, parts, and tools.
• Able to work independently with little supervision.
• Must have good understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems as they intermix in industrial equipment for high-speed manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Works with production and manufacturing leaders to start machines, inspect/test parts, and troubleshoot mechanical operation.
• Collaborates with design team to install, replace or modify machines or machine parts per specs.
• Builds and designs custom production equipment, jigs, and fixtures.
• Performs repairs, rebuilding, or overhaul work of manufacturing equipment and fixtures.
• Assists in cleaning up facilities after projects or implementation of new equipment.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance on production equipment and records PM paperwork.
