Job summary

Cortland Woodlands in Marietta, GA seeks a Senior Maintenance Technician to lead complex repairs, mentor junior technicians, and support the Service Manager. You own advanced troubleshooting across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems and ensure safety and reliability for residents.

You will participate in on-call rotations, manage inventory, document work, and drive preventative maintenance programs while delivering high‑quality customer service.

Qualifications

• EPA universal certification is required; CPO preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5+ years of maintenance or facilities experience.
• Advanced skills in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair.
• Ability to mentor staff and support leadership.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-service abilities.
• Willingness to participate in on-call and emergency rotations.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support service technicians and assist in leading maintenance operations.
• Act as lead in the Service Manager's absence.
• Diagnose and repair advanced issues in building systems.
• Address unsafe conditions and ensure timely corrective action.
• Monitor and report on security systems, doors, and cameras.
• Perform and oversee preventative maintenance on HVAC and equipment.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and parts.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies.
• Provide professional customer service to residents.
• Document all work and report recurring issues.
