HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMISSION (HHSC) is seeking a Maintenance Specialist III for the Waco Center for Youth. You will perform complex maintenance across trades, inspect, repair, and service building systems, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building systems and repairs across trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, etc).
• Ability to read drawings/schematics and estimate materials/labor.
• High safety standards and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment.
• Inspect, adjust, and install; maintain records and work orders.
• Operate power tools and possibly heavy equipment; may train others.
