Job summary
Dr. Squatch is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to support our high-volume manufacturing and packaging operation in Brea, California.
This is a senior, on-site role requiring independent troubleshooting of complex equipment and restoration to production with urgency and precision. The ideal candidate has hands-on manufacturing experience, can work with 480V/3-phase power, motors, VFDs, sensors, and automated packaging machinery.
Qualifications
- Not an entry-level maintenance position.
- Experience with high-volume manufacturing environments preferred.
- Strong hands-on electrical and mechanical repair skills across 480V/3-phase power and automated packaging equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and control circuits.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems.
- Respond quickly to production downtime and identify root causes.
- Troubleshoot 24VDC to 480VAC systems and motor/controllers.
- Assist Engineering with equipment modifications and automation projects.
- Support commissioning, installation, startup, and validation activities.
- Lead preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives and backlog reduction.
