Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled facilities maintenance professional to perform diverse duties across building repair, equipment upkeep and grounds management. You will work with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems, using smart devices and office software.

The role requires strong organizational, multitasking and communication skills, with after-hours availability for emergencies and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Experience with Building Management Systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience in facilities, maintenance, construction or related fields.
• Combination with higher degree/certification and 3 years’ experience or 7 years’ related experience accepted.
• Safe drivers are required; valid driver's license required.
• Ability to oversee multiple properties.
• Strong knowledge of building system terms and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, multi-tasking, math, written, verbal and collaborative skills.
• Preferred technical certification in building systems (generators, UPS, HVAC, fire detection).
• Certification in operating lifting equipment.
• Experience with commercial chillers, cooling towers, boilers, VFD drives and pumps.
• Experience with automated Building Management Systems, including HVAC and lighting controls.
