Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the community’s facilities in top condition, inside and out. You will handle service requests, perform daily walkthroughs, and ensure safety and cleanliness across offices, common areas, exteriors, and models.

You will collaborate with the leasing team to coordinate tasks, document damages, and bill for misuse. A strong service mindset and OSHA-compliant practices are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Proficient working knowledge of basic building HVAC systems.
• Proficient working knowledge of basic building electrical systems.
• Proficient working knowledge of basic plumbing systems.
• Experience with make-ready unit preparation.
• Construction skills including sheetrock patching, texture, painting, flooring, and carpentry.
• Experience with groundskeeping and irrigation systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily property walkthroughs to ensure all areas are functional, safe, and well-maintained.
• Complete work orders promptly, professionally, and courteously.
• Document and bill residents for damages caused by neglect or misuse.
• Collaborate with leasing office to coordinate service requests and optimize resident satisfaction.
• Comply with codes, legal, OSHA, and safety regulations.
