Job summary

McKinley Companies is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team at one of our communities in Taylor, MI. You will be responsible for completing work orders to maintain and repair physical structures of buildings and grounds.

The role requires hands-on skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall and painting, with on-call duties including weekends and holidays. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required; EPA Universal Certification is preferred

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, groundskeeping, or other trades.
• Technical areas include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry and drywall.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred but not required.
• On-call duties, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders to maintain and repair buildings and grounds.
• Diagnose problems and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, drywall, and related systems.
• Ensure property meets company standards and applicable laws.
• Keep apartment communities clean and orderly.

McKinley is looking for aSeniorMaintenance Technician to join our team at one of our communities located in Taylor, MI!

Compensation: $20-25/hour + on call bonuses + full benefits package

Position Information:

As the Maintenance and Grounds expert of your community you will be responsible for completing work orders to maintain and repair physical structures of buildings and grounds.

• Diagnose problems and make repairs in areas such as, but not limited to: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, dry wall repair, appliance maintenance, carpet cleaning and exterior structure maintenance
• Ensure the physical aspects of the property meet the company standards and applicable laws
• Keeping our apartment community in a clean and orderly condition

Position Requirements:

• Experience working in maintenance, groundskeeping, or other trades
• Skills in one or more technical areas desired including: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry and drywall
• EPA Universal Certification preferred but not required
• On-call duty, including weekends and holidays required
• A valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
