Job summary

McKinley Companies LLC is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team at one of our communities in Taylor, MI. You will handle work orders to maintain and repair buildings and grounds, ensuring safety and quality across the property.

The role requires experience in trades, on-call duties including weekends and holidays, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. We offer a competitive hourly wage, on-call bonuses, and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance, groundskeeping or related trades is required.
• Knowledge in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry or related systems is a plus.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred but not required.

Compensation: $20-25/hour + on call bonuses + full benefits package

Position Information:

As the Maintenance and Grounds expert of your community you will be responsible for completing work orders to maintain and repair physical structures of buildings and grounds.

• Diagnose problems and make repairs in areas such as, but not limited to: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, dry wall repair, appliance maintenance, carpet cleaning and exterior structure maintenance
• Ensure the physical aspects of the property meet the company standards and applicable laws
• Keeping our apartment community in a clean and orderly condition

Position Requirements:

• Experience working in maintenance, groundskeeping, or other trades
• Skills in one or more technical areas desired including: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry and drywall
• EPA Universal Certification preferred but not required
• On-call duty, including weekends and holidays required
• A valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
