Job Title: Sr Maintenance Technician
Location: Lancaster, TX
Pay: $23-25 hourly
The Sr. Maintenance Technician will be responsible for safely maintaining, repairing, replacing, and modifying all processing, packaging, and facility equipment with optimal quality and efficiency. The incumbent will also possess supervisory responsibilities and functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning repairs.
- Ensure 100% functionality to complete work orders and log corrective maintenance issues.
- Perform minimal electrical repairs and troubleshoot AC & DC motor controls, solid-state motor controls, and test equipment.
- Understand and support the company's objectives, including productivity, yields, food safety, quality, customer service, and cost goals.
- Oversee or perform daily inspections, emergency repairs, routine adjustments, and follow periodic preventive maintenance schedules.
- Model professional workplace conduct and adhere to company policies such as GMP compliance, attendance, punctuality, efficient work habits, and personal hygiene.
- Support Process Improvement (PI) projects and participate in safety teams.
- Serve as a resource to resolve mechanical issues.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
- Learn mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills; identify and repair problematic issues, including finding innovative solutions to recurrent problems.
- Use multimeter and other measurable instruments.
- Read, write, and speak English effectively.
- Perform daily tech/maintenance activities during the shift.
- Work effectively in a team and promote cooperation.
- Analyze work requirements and plan accordingly.
- Understand schematics, drawings, and manuals to establish facts and draw conclusions.
- Maintain strong organizational skills and effective communication.
- Demonstrate math skills, including fractions, decimals, percentages, and the metric system; be efficient with ratios, the metric system, and formulas.
- Be familiar with preventive and reliability-based maintenance.
- Possess Food Processing Industry experience.

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Ability to take direction and own tasks.
