Job summary

WMFHA in Kentucky is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to perform advanced maintenance on production equipment, conveying equipment, forklifts, electrical systems, HVAC, buildings and grounds. This role requires strong diagnostic skills and the ability to lead maintenance projects with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in industrial maintenance, hands-on repair capabilities, welding, fabrication, and PLC troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Advanced troubleshooting of electrical, HVAC, and industrial systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on repair and diagnostics.
• Welding and fabrication skills.

Job description

The Senior Maintenance Technician performs advanced maintenance and preventative maintenance of the company’s production equipment, conveying equipment, forklifts, electrical systems, HVAC, buildings, and grounds, with minimal supervision. This role is responsible for diagnosing complex equipment issues and leading maintenance projects and repairs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Performs advanced building and grounds maintenance, plant equipment maintenance, and monthly preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoots and resolves complex equipment issues quickly to return production to normal levels, minimizing downtime.
• Leads maintenance projects, major repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assists in developing and improving preventative maintenance programs and procedures.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Other duties as assigned by Management to support operational objectives.
• Regular attendance, punctuality, and proper work attire are required.
• Willingness to work overtime or other shifts as needed to support business needs.
