Job summary

The Job Shop in Jeffersontown, KY, is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to perform advanced maintenance on production equipment, conveyors, forklifts, electrical systems, HVAC, buildings, and grounds with minimal supervision. You will diagnose complex issues, lead maintenance projects, and improve preventive maintenance programs.

Requires 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, strong electrical/mechanical aptitude, welding and fabrication skills, and PLC troubleshooting knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' industrial maintenance experience.

• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, including hands-on repair and diagnostics.
• Welding and fabrication skills.
• PLC knowledge and troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Reading, writing, speak and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced building and grounds maintenance, plant equipment maintenance, and monthly preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoots and resolves complex equipment issues quickly to return production to normal levels, minimizing downtime.
• Leads maintenance projects, major repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assists in developing and improving preventative maintenance programs and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by Management to support operational objectives.
• Regular attendance, punctuality, and proper work attire are required.
• Willingness to work overtime or other shifts as needed to support business needs.
