Job Overview:

The Maintenance Technician supports daily maintenance activities at the plant, providing leadership support to maximize efficiency and maintain high-quality standards that meet or exceed customer expectations in a professional environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform safe maintenance work following all safety rules and procedures.
• Inspect and repair plant equipment, including mechanical, welding, carpentry, electrical, instrumentation, and controls.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Clean and maintain work areas and tools.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Report incidents, near misses, and non-conformances.
• Follow organizational policies and procedures.
• Assist with maintenance supply procurement.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance Program tasks.
• Support other projects and tasks as assigned.
• Cross-train on other production functions as needed.

Qualifications:

• One-year certificate from college, technical school, or manufacturing training program, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Skills and Abilities:

• Troubleshoot electrical, air, and hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout, arc flash, confined space entry, hot work permits.
• Ability to work overtime and meet deadlines.
• Manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to equipment issues.
• Effective team player, self-motivated, quick learner.
• Good communication skills in English.

Physical Demands:

Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, taste, smell, and lift up to 50 lbs.
