Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is seeking a Senior Maintenance Worker to provide maintenance and repair services for multiple residential homes in Bloomington, MN. The role is on-site with a $2,000 hiring bonus and a rate of $25 per hour.

You will inspect properties, determine repair methods (in-house or external), arrange lawn care and seasonal maintenance, and manage supplies. Strong focus on assisting residents with disabilities in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in electrical, mechanical, and preventative maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and motor vehicle check.
• Background check clearance required.
• Computer skills to support LSS technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance and repair services for multiple residential homes and inspect properties regularly.
• Identify repair needs and determine whether to handle in‑house or via outside service.
• Arrange lawn care, snow removal, and seasonal maintenance; purchase tools and supplies.
• Maintain program vehicles and coordinate outside maintenance as needed.
• Complete documentation such as work orders, mileage, purchases, receipts, and checklists.
