Job summary
Amgen Rhode Island is hiring a Senior Maintenance Technician – Nights to perform advanced maintenance and repair on manufacturing and laboratory equipment. The role includes a 12-hour night shift (7PM-7AM) on a rotating schedule with a 15% shift differential and Sunday premium pay. onboarding is 2–6 weeks with daytime hours.
The candidate will document work in Maximo CMMS, ensure compliance with procedures, and support continuous improvement across site operations.
Qualifications
- Requires strong written and verbal communication.
- Experience with regulated environments (cGMP).
- Able to read P&IDs and technical docs.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on equipment and systems.
- Support equipment across Manufacturing, Process Development, and Quality labs.
- Document maintenance activities and work orders in Maximo.
- Communicate status and issues with operators and stakeholders.
- Identify improvements to reduce downtime and waste.
- Maintain technical skills and participate in continuous improvement.
