Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Maintenance Tech for night shifts at the Rhode Island (ARI) site. You will support maintenance and repair activities for production equipment as part of a maintenance team, ensuring reliability for manufacturing operations.

The role includes a 12-hour rotating schedule (7PM–7AM) with a 15% shift differential and Sundays premium pay. The successful candidate will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, document work in CMMS, and support continuous improvement

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or higher with 1 year of maintenance/utility experience or military background.
• Associate degree preferred for advanced maintenance roles.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance with sanitary processing equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with CMMS (Maximo) and reading P&IDs is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on production equipment and systems.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance following site procedures and safety standards.
• Ensure work is documented accurately in the CMMS and communicate status to the team.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
