Amgen Rhode Island is hiring a Senior Maintenance Technician – Nights to perform advanced maintenance and repair on manufacturing and laboratory equipment. The role includes a 12-hour night shift (7PM-7AM) on a rotating schedule with a 15% shift differential and Sunday premium pay. onboarding is 2–6 weeks with daytime hours.
The candidate will document work in Maximo CMMS, ensure compliance with procedures, and support continuous improvement across site operations.
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will be responsible for performing advanced maintenance and repair activities across the Amgen Rhode Island (ARI) site. This role supports equipment and systems used in Manufacturing, Process Development Laboratories, Quality Analytical Laboratories, and other site operations. The successful candidate will execute maintenance activities safely, efficiently, and in compliance with established procedures while ensuring high reliability and right-first-time execution.
In this role, you will be expected to work a 12‑hour shift (7PM-7AM) on a rotating schedule. This includes extra benefits such as receiving an added 15% shift differential, and also getting premium pay for any Sundays worked. The schedule during the initial on‑boarding phase for this role (2-6 weeks) will be administrative (Monday through Friday, approximately 8am to 5pm).

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
